Happy Gilmore 2 (2025)
⭐️⭐️⭐️
Nearly three decades since the original, when his emotional and financial world collapses, Happy Gilmore reluctantly returns to the golf world he knows best.
THE GOOD
The nostalgia is STRONG and warmly welcomed. Happy may be a father now but he sure hasn’t grown up. Sandler’s brand of simple and straightforward comedy mixed with sincerity still rings true, thirty years later.
THE BAD
Sequels always feel the need to level up from the first. I get it. Go big or go home. But the movie rings truer in its smaller, sillier and sincere moments compared to the large leaps. Keep it simple, Happy.
THE CAMEOS
The cameos are extensive and fantastic. I wont spoil any of the surprises here but don’t blink, you’ll miss a celebrity.
And everyone is GAME for the silly, slapstick style Sandler is known for. The fun is contagious!
