Pee-wee’s Big Adventure (1985)

When forever man/child Pee-wee Herman’s exceptional bicycle gets stolen, he travels the country to get it back, meeting eccentric strangers as he goes.

Directed by Tim Burton, the film has a delightful color to it, saturated with whimsy and detail. With touches of his usual dark palette, this big adventure is a BIG adventure.

Filled with great quotes, iconic characters, and a fantastic dance break, the antics never wear too thin to not have a great time.
